Hello Everyone!
Welcome to our first web newsletter. We hope to be able to keep you updated with new products, grooming and braiding tips, and answers to questions you might have.
Time flies by so fast. It's hard to believe show season is already over in the northern part of the U.S. We are already looking at snow flying in some areas. Now is the time to get busy working on practicing your braiding skills. Also if you had a poor tail this summer, work on making it beautiful for next season.

Practice Braiding
The best time to practice braiding is when it doesn't count, so that you are ready when it does. Ruthann Smith has taught us to use your Lucky Braids Video with a practice board. Sit in front of the video and practice in the comfort of your living room. Make a sample board out of cardboard. Cut a hole in the board, cut yarn long enough to make it into a faux mane. Tape a nail onto the backside of the board, pull hair(yarn) through the hole and you are set to go. Sit back and practice, practice, practice, rewind if you must. After you feel you are ready. Try it on your horse. Chances are your braids will be more beautiful, you will be less stressed come show season. That in turn will show up in your horses attitude on show day.

How to grow longer, thicker, fuller manes and tails!
Three years ago I never would have believed that there were products on the market that actually improved mane and tail growth.
Today however, I am a believer. Not because I have found out for myself, but because of customers telling me over and over again.
(Reason we haven't had to use these products is we have an Arab with a great mane and tail.)
We have 2 products, one is Shapleys's M-T-G and the other is EQyss Mega Tek Coat Rebuilder . We have received nothing but rave reviews on both of these products.
Customer from WI told me she used MTG twice a week from the first of February to the middle of April when I seen her, and she measured 3 inches of tail growth. We have received equal compliments on both products.
For tails- apply twice weekly by rubbing into tail hair down to the bone brush in like you normally would and then leave it.
For manes-apply along the base of the mane and massage in. Do this once a week for manes. You do not have to rinse out in between applications.
Use the same program for EQyss Coat Rebuilder . EQyss has an added bonus, not only does it smell nice, you can also use it on your own hair. I have also been told by customers that it works excellent on helping to strengthen hooves.
Horses, like people, are all different,and there is no such thing as a guarantee with any of these products. For the price though it is definetely worth the extra effort and small expense to see if it will help out your horse.There is nothing more beautiful than a natural mane and tail.
